Singapore Electronic Transactions Act (ETA) 2010

Singapore’s Electronic Transactions Act 2010 is the law governing the use of electronic communications, contracts, electronic signatures, etc in the country. The ETA is in line with the United Nations Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts. Singapore was the first country in the world to adopt the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Commerce.

UK eIDAS incorporated in December 2020

Article 25 (1) of UK eIDAS confirms an electronic signature shall not be denied legal effect and admissibility as evidence in legal proceedings solely on the grounds that it is in an electronic form or that it does not meet the requirements for qualified electronic signatures.

This Act in the Philippines provides for the recognition and use of electronic commercial and non-commercial transactions, penalties for unlawful use, and other purposes.

This Act in Thailand applies to all civil and commercial transactions performed by using electronic means like electronic messages, signatures, etc.
